David Hurren

David Hurren is CEO/Director of DAH Renewable Consultancy, and a member of the gasworld Editorial Advisory Board.

Hurren graduated from Imperial College with a degree in Chemical Engineering. For most of his career, he has worked in the industrial gas industry, apart from a four-year spell in water and wastewater treatment. After 25 years with Air Liquide UK, including setting up and leading Air Liquide’s biogas operations in the UK for seven years, he is now working as a consultant and board advisor with knowledge on biomethane production, transport, and use; biogenic CO2; hydrogen; and managing start-ups and rapidly growing businesses in the renewables sector.

He s currently the Chair of the REA Green Gas Committees, is on the Board of BCGA, and is on the Advisory Boards for ADBA and gasworld.
