Mike Walden

Mike is TECHCET’s – now a part of TechInsights – expert in modeling industry trends and forecasting semiconductor key indicators including semiconductor revenues, OEM equipment revenues, wafer start volumes and revenues. He is also in charge of market research and analysis of silicon wafers and sputtering targets materials. Mike has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry that stems from IBM in cost analysis and supply chain management; he has helped grow businesses with leadership roles at SUMCO, MEMC/Sun Edison, Zing Semiconductor and Okmetic. Mike holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from Morehead State University.
