Simon Hyde

Simon is a qualified production and industrial engineer who began a career practicing work and method study in a manufacturing environment. Disciplines trained in production supervision and management, with six sigma experience. He obtained belt status and delivered programmes in UK and USA.

His key attributes are being a manager/ CEO with a robust and international background in sales, service, and manufacturing.  Proven ability and a track record in strategic and operational business improvement through detailed analysis of corporate aims, manpower selection, organisational dynamics, development with prudent financial controls, and strong leadership.

Believes firmly in driving change, dedicated to supporting the community and the next generation. Simon is Chairman of the Skills and Employment board of the North Worcestershire LEP, a member of the WLEP ESB, and Chair of the Local Business Leaders Group.

Founder and ambassador of the Power up mentor foundation. Simon’s drive and commitment to positive change is the thread that ties this all together.
